B8/11

Here's a few shots of Kim L and the Nagari at the VSCC-WA sprint event on the esplanade in Perth. This was a prelude to the Targa West prologue over the same course. That would be a good idea here in SA although it would take a better man than me to suggest it to the new organisers. Couldn't see it happening around the back streets of Tanunda though. It was hard enough to stop the race for the Kindy kids to cross the road to their mums. Kristin Trappitt took these photos.

Eddie had the black Mk.7 in the same event. Kristin got some shots of that too. I'll show you later.
My recollections of B8/11 go back to the early 70s. Alan Blackney had it then. He was the WA state manager of Mullins Wheels. In about 1974 his step son managed to drive it straight into the Swan River.
It was rebuilt over about 6 years and then sold. It went to Port Hedland, later being sold back to Perth. Dave Moltoni had it at one stage, Then Errol DuBoulay who sold it to Kim.
